Home projects make me so happy. I love creating value with my hands, making something out of essentially thin air. Letting my creativity run wild and ending up with a tangible result.
But when it comes to getting them done, I’m part of what is known as “the 95% club”.
I’m not afraid to start something, but finishing it off (like really finishing it) and checking every. last. box. of a project is not my MO. Unfortunately.
I usually can’t wait to start the next project and eagerly jump into more . As this moment in time, I have at least 5 unfinished projects sitting around my house. And I’ve committed to NOT starting another one until I finish those.
Then I realized, what better way to hold myself accountable than to put it on the Internet?!
after all, I have every intention of sharing these projects with the Pinterest and Google gods. The world deserves to see how easy you can really make this stuff. And I posted DIY deck post almost a year after it was complete.
I’m not afraid of getting the timing all wrong, but I am afraid of leaving it unfinished and never getting it out to you guys! So I’m making a list, and forget about checking it twice, I’m going to be referring to it constantly. And updating it with progress. And forcing myself to get this out to you all.
Current DIY projects:
1. Front deck with palm planter
2. laundry room makeover
3. floating shelves (take 2!)
4. kitchen renovation

Phew! Ok that is what’s bouncing around in my head! It feels so good to get it out, and I’m looking forward to using this list to keep me busy tackling all the things I’ve been dying to make!
Seriously. It kills me to imagine this list and NOT chip away at it.
I just wanna make.
