It’s Thursday again and my closet is no where near complete. In fact, I’ve had to scrap and reassess my grand plans from last week. My goal of shifting the doorway has been thwarted by my wonky wood frame house and a potentially important structural beam. I will make do and have made minimal progress so I’m not too sad about it. We are planning to sell this place sooner than later and the big closet undertaking has been feeling a little…. extra.
Because it was taking so long, I have been itching to make exciting but simple steps forward. So paint is happening very soon!
Bedroom Paint choices
I’ll be painting the entire room SW Greek Villa to match baby boy’s room. It’s warm white and makes me think of our trip to Greece in 2014.

They are currently BM Revere Pewter aka THE paint of 2017. I’m over it. In fact, I think I hate it. 😬 But more importantly, I can not WAIT to cover it.
I’m going to have my first go around with painting furniture for this project too! I’ve been obsessing over SW Exuberant Pink for our dresser. It’s bold and potentially offensive, but I’ve been sneaking shades of pink into our marital bedroom for a while now and even earned an “I like it” from Tano when I bought a powder pink quilt last year.

It gives me the Mexican vibrance I crave without adding too much work to prep the house for sale in the next few years.
That’s it for my update this week. I’m full of excuses, but they aren’t all as lousy as “I’m tired”. On a personal note, my kid brother is joining the US NAVY next week and we’ve been busy soaking up all of his time (and babysitting expertise lol!).
